The revolution of the Pharaoh Akhenaton Ecomuseum Castellina
The 'nights of' continue to Castellina Marittima Saturday 21 at 18.30 with a screening of "Akhenaton, 1350 BC," French documentary film directed by Patric Jean. About 1350 years before our era, a man overturns the history of ancient Egypt: Amenhotep IV accedes to the throne and becomes Pharaoh. In just 17 years of reign, Nefertiti had at his side, makes an incredible revolution. Inaugurates a new religion with one god, Aton, of which he himself is the only intercessor and clears the many gods and their temples and their priests. Changes its name to become Akhenaten. In honor of the god Aton is building a new capital in the desert. The art and the representation of reality are radically transformed. This creates a current realist not survive much to its creator, but will leave an indelible mark in the history of art and visual representation. Exploring sacred paths in 'ancient archaeological Bibbona
Become a fascinating discovery of Etruscan religion in one of the most beautiful residential areas of Tuscany. The 'magic' Bibbona has a 'sacred heart' that arises in the old town and is the area where once stood the Palazzino. Thursday, July 19, archaeologist and writer, and passionate about ancient religions Roberto Russo accompany visitors in the rediscovery of this site, where in recent years has been identified a small Etruscan necropolis, an ancient underground of office today, and a mysterious street dotted with sacred old acquaintances. The presence of nearby sources of Bacchus increases the symbolic significance of the site and draws many examples of cults and health benefits.
The projection of the video Via Clodia, sacred Etruscan road? (Directed by Ebe Giovannini) emphasizes a similar case of copresences from south to north, southern Etruria, Norcia, Purgino Cave, S. Giuliano, Luni. Continuity in a sacred way, continuity of religion from the Paleolithic Etruscan, a religion based on the water and a pair of Tinia and Uni. In the sixth century BC, with the advent of Rome will lose importance in favor of Jupiter and Juno in a period leading up to the base of monotheism. Via Clodia: street sacred to the Etruscans? Today this route is still traveled in a sacred manner to the cave-shrine of St. Vivenzio, where the Christian iconography of ancient cultural economy once again a magical and sacred.
The initiative is part of the full program of events for 'The Night of Archaeology' and the proposed enhancement of the entire archaeological site sponsored by the cooperatives. Caesar Onlus, from The Palazzino and sponsored by the City of Inland from the CTG. The evening, which will start at 18.00, will continue with the visit of the rock excavated in limestone and with a buffet dinner from 20.30.

Thus, in the central Sahara, the massifs of Tadrart Acacus and Messak, in southwestern Libya, formed the first communities, tough and vital, culturally made, which also managed to raise a pictorial language, so complex, their daily life and their primitive need for transcendence.
