Ecomuseum alabaster Castellina Marittima is the scene A 'Rebours 2007, the project created in 2005 by Roberto Russo and non-profit organization sponsored by Caesar, which compares' The histories of art old 'with the modern sensibilities of any creative expression. For three Saturdays will be screened as many documentary films of great beauty, taken from the International Festival of Archaeological Film of the scene each year in Rovereto. Among the more than 300 events planned in the regional event 'The nights of 2007' stands to Castellina Marittima, which has become a pole of development and testing for the whole contemporary art district of Lower Val di Cecina. Only here because Saturday, July 14 from 18.30 could be seen the first film titled 'The sign on the stone-Sahara unknown men without name', built in 2006 and directed by Anna Rose and Lucio. The history of the Sahara about a succession of extreme climatic phases: periods of great aridity, of heavy rains, and behind them the stories of men who were fortunate enough to choose this land as their home. 12,000 years ago, after a period of extreme aridity, the rain returned and life began to germinate slowly. Thus, in the central Sahara, the massifs of Tadrart Acacus and Messak, in southwestern Libya, formed the first communities, tough and vital, culturally made, which also managed to raise a pictorial language, so complex, their daily life and their primitive need for transcendence. The guards who welcomed them, became through the rock art from the late Pleistocene to the Holocene, until the last desertification, home and preserving of knowledge, books of stone on which unraveled a human story and stated that even today shows intact its unique and fascinating magic. To accommodate Ecomuseum viewers, a remarkable scenario of exhibitions of national, archaeologist Susanne Tofanari of Caesar Onlus, which will lead to deepening both exotic beauties.
